Online training
Our courses range in topic and training level to suit all learning requirements and are run by our experienced tutors, in small class groups.
Online courses are delivered on Zoom.
"A course of this calibre can be hard to find. The trainer had a very pleasant manner and both led the course and delivered the content magnificently. Very impressed and want to say thank you. Excellent value for money"
"Very useful course delivered in a way that made very complex information understandable."
Online courses - timings
Half-day courses are usually scheduled to run from 10am-1pm with a 30-minute break at 11.15am.
To avoid lengthy screen time, we have split online courses over two consecutive mornings that we would normally deliver in person in a full day.
'In-house' online courses
All of the training courses on our online programme can be delivered 'in-house' to up to 17 delegates in your organisation via Zoom. We can also design and deliver tailored training packages for your staff. We work with many organisations throughout the UK each year to design and deliver in-house learning.

"Exemplary training and course delivery. It really couldn't have been done better - very clear, substantial but accessible content, excellent delivery - questions really well encouraged and handled. I can't praise it enough."
Face-to-face training in England
We are now delivering face-to-face events from our office in central London for those who prefer in-person training.
We add new courses, dates and locations added throughout the year. Go to our courses page and select your preferred event location on the right-hand side to see the latest face-to-face training dates.
Choosing the right level of course
- Basic level courses (England and Wales only): for frontline workers who do not work specifically in welfare rights, but who want to know about the benefit issues relevant to their clients to give basic advice or refer on.
- Introductory level courses: for people new to benefit advice work, or who have little or no experience of the subject covered by the course.
- Standard level courses: for people with a working knowledge of the benefits system, or the subject covered by the course. These courses are suitable for people wanting a refresher, or to update skills or information.
- Experienced level courses: for more experienced benefit advisers who are confident about covering issues in more, and sometimes complex, detail.
Scottish National Standards (SNS)
Many of our courses cover the skills and knowledge required to meet the Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers. For further details please see Scottish National Standards.

All delegates have access to course materials online to view and download. For face-to-face events (including conferences and seminars) we can provide course packs in large print/coloured paper.
